So so happy. Tu Hai Mera Sunday/ You are my Sunday will be premiering at BFI in London on the 15th and 16th of Oct.
Tickets go on sale 15th Sept. So London Sobtians make sure you are there on either of the dates. We ourselves will be there covering the event, and we have been promised by the producer today that there will be more information coming in the next couple weeks.
Today's live stream on the THMS facebook page(you can see the link below) was attended by Barun, Vishal Malhotra, Avinash Tiwary(btw love the hair), Jay Upadhyay and director Milind Dhaimade(who btw is very funny) and of course Nakul Bhalla( on facetime from Bangalore).
Although orignally scheduled for 2PM, the stream and cast was delayed a little due to the adverse conditions in Mumbai but it got going around 4PM. The fun chat consisted of the actors explaining their roles, and a joke that they had only read the movie's script twice, and that they would need to do some prepping on the 8 hour flight to London. The story is about 5 friends who get together on Sunday to play football.Nakul explained that the film is about 'finding space', that all characters are from Mumbai, to which Barun replied 'Mumbai is so diverse.. there is a lack of space that is why we are building upwards'. The chat was concluded with Milind promising viewers that more live streams will happen in the coming days and weeks, and more information will be coming.
As a resident of London and of course a Sobtian I cannot wait to see the film, the cast and crew seem like a lovely bunch and the chemistry between them is already evident. Keep updated on Tu Hai Mera Sunday via our twitter @Team_Barun or Facebook:facebook.com/barunteam
